After our nap we headed over to the Jewish Museum. This was designed by an artist, so there were a few strange things in it.
One of the first places you go is to a "tower", it only has a slit of light coming in from the top. It was designed so that you could hear everything going on outside, but you couldn't see it. I think it was so that you could have a tiny experience of how it felt to be in a camp.
This is the Garden of Exile. It was a very eery thing to walk through. I read a review saying that it made him sick and until you actually do it, you don't believe it.
Kaelyn's name in Hebrew
We had to leave before seeing all of it because they closed, but we had already been asked to keep the kids quiet so it was fine.
As we headed back to Alexanderplatz for dinner, we came across this guy who makes the coolest bubble wands ever.
All it is is two sticks with ropes tied between them in various fashions. It was so much fun to see these huge bubbles.
We found an American style restaurant and decided tonight, we needed a little home style food.
It was getting dark with a storm coming in by the time we left, which really transformed a lot of the buildings that we had already seen.
