Day two we decided to drive since it was over 100 degrees. We found this cool bell tower when we were looking for a parking place.
One of the most popular places to visit in Berlin is the dome. This is a beautiful building with amazing scultures.
We didn't go in, the wait was over an hour and we didn't get tickets beforehand.
It was still such an amazing thing to see however.
One of the most exciting things to see however was the Brandenburg Gate.
It was so incredible to see it in person.
We didn't know that this isn't the original though, that was destroyed and rebuilt.
Inside every passage, of archway there are pictures depicting a story.
Kaelyn fell asleep in the carrier, as I was meandering to keep her asleep while Nick took pictures, an Oriental tourist followed me around to take a picture of Kaelyn. I thought I was in her way so I headed the other direction but Nick said that she just kept following me.
We saw this beautiful statue in a picture and with a little help, we found it. It was in the middle of a traffic circle so we didn't get out to look at it, but we got some pretty good pictures from that car.
There were probably five stop lights around it, Nick said that it was designed for tourists to look and take pictures as they drive around.
We headed over the the Sony center for lunch, this is where they do all of the movie premiers and red carpet events in Germany.
With full bellies and tired feet, we headed back to the hotel for a nice nap.
