On Friday Nick finally graduated the Army's Basic Training. It was so cool to see him all dressed up, and looking so proud of the amazing accomplishment he has achieved.
After the ceremony we went out side, got some more pictures and just talked.
His parents are just as proud of him as I am.
It was such an emotional day, Jamie and I spent most of the morning crying.
He only had 30 minutes before he had to get back in formation to grab his bag and get ready to go.
After he went and changed he had a little time to talk with us before we all had to go.
As hard as it was to say goodbye again, for another four months it was completely worth it. I wouldn't have missed this huge moment for anything. He worked to hard to accomplish everything that he did, reaching two out of his three goals. The only thing he didn't get was expert on his rifle test, but he can do that at AIT.
