Road Tripping With Kids

My sister flew up here from Louisiana at the end of the month to help me drive up to New Jersey where we were meeting the rest of our sisters and mom for our trip up to Prince Edward Island, Canada.

It was a long drive, 12 hours of driving, but almost 18 hours in the car.

We did everything we could, and fed him everything we could in order to keep William as happy as possible.

We finally arrived very late on Saturday night, and everyone was so happy to see the kids. Luckily we had Sunday to relax and prepare for two more days of driving in order to get to the island.

He'll Always Be My Baby

Everyone says that their youngest will always be their baby.

However, William will always be my baby. He is sure enjoying all of the baby toys that Kaelyn has too!

He even gets upset when I wont let him sit on her in order to swing.

My Little Helper

Everyone knows that Williams loves to help around the house,

/but he specializes in knowing exactly when to help me in the kitchen.

Whether we are doing dishes, baking cookies or brownies,

he is willing and ready!

Tummy Time

Kaelyn likes tummy time so much more than William every did.

Unlike him, she lays there for about five minutes most of the time before crying.

William is always anxious to participate, whether that means covering her with a blanket,

Or rolling her over because she is crying

She can already hold herself up a little, much sooner than William could. This girl is going to be tough!

Love of Reading

William has always loved to be read to.

Although he can't actually read, he is now big enough to grab a book, and look at the pictures.

He makes up a story as he goes, making sure that you hear it.

Even  better, now he has a sister that he can read to, and he is loving it!

Blowing Raspberries

Another cute video I found. He still does this, only he climbs onto the couch and runs from one arm to the other.

 

Bath Day

Bath day has always been one of William's favorites.

 

To make a great day even better, he now gets to help give Kaelyn a bath.

 

 

He will take any excuse to play in the water.
