Tecnik Museum

After stopping at the Emperors observatory we headed to the Tecnik museum.

Planes, trains, cars, everything with a motor was featured here.

The kids learned how a train use to work, got to climb into airplanes, boats, subs and rocket ships.

There was a huge slide coming down from the biggest airplane. William naturally wanted to go so we made the trip down and had a blast.

Kaelyn of course found the rocks, puddles and made a new friend.

We hit the park for a few minutes before leaving, grabbed some ice cream and headed back home.

Emperors Observatory

While we were headed to a museum one day we saw this really cool building just down the road so we decided to make a little detour and check it out.

Turns out it was the Emperors observatory that is now used as we think, a Catholic church.

The architecture was incredible with amazing etchings and art all around the walls.

As you looked down all of the streets, there were beautiful building everywhere.

Nick and I plan to go back for a night without the kids to bike around town and do a little exploring.

It was a fun little stop for the day, letting the kids run around and seeing another awe inspiring structure.

Out and About

The kids and I do so much traveling, we go out most weekends as a family and usually at least once a week just the three of us.

I like to think that at least William will remember some of the fun times we have closer to the end of our time here.

They are my little helpers, and William is such a great big brother to Kaelyn. We are really loving our time here in Germany, taking advantage of everything that we can with so many plans for our future!

For The Love Of Cycling

My super sweet husband bought me a brand new hybrid bike to make my time biking around easier and more enjoyable.

I have had so much fun biking around either by myself or with the kids seeing Germany in a whole new way.

William loves to ride in the trailer and I love riding through the quiet farm fields enjoying the beautiful sites.

Color Run

Every month our base does some sort of a 5k run, and in June, it was a color fun.

Neither of us had ever done that, so we headed out on a rainy morning. We made pretty good time, about 30 minutes and had so much fun!

The kids got a little color on them, and Nick didn't get hardly any until the very end because we were the first people with children, so they chased after us at the last check point.

Bowling With The Sisters

As I am sure everyone knows by know, our family loves to bowl, especially William.

We have the sister missionaries over every week for dinner, sometimes more so one week we decided to do something different, and we all went bowling.

We had a blast, William and Kaelyn both love them, and it was fun to do something a little different with them.

Kaelyn decided to be a snake and chase Nick around on the floor, silly Kaelyn.

Berlin Day 4

Our last day we took a quick trip to Check Point Charlie. This is where the only access point between East and West Germany was.

It was pretty crazy to stand where the wall was, to see the pictures of what it was like.

Nick did a great job of explaining everything so it was a great learning experience for me.

Such a great way to end our trip.
