Birthday in Paris

For my birthday Nick took me to Paris, we could even see the Eiffel tower from our room, even if it was just the top.

It took us so much longer to get there than we planned, so by the time we got there, the sun was setting and it was getting cold.

We checked into our hotel and walked straight down to get a closer look. You know it's big, but seeing it is completely different.

It was huge! Every hour they light it up with flashing lights making it look like a disco ball. I liked the regular lighting best, but it was kind of fun.

The next morning, our alarm didn't go off so we missed one of our tours but we still got the change to take a river cruise to see some of the main attractions.

We didn't get off and look at anything because we were pretty pressed for time, but it was still so beautiful.

Notre Dam was amazing, I can't wait to go back and get a chance to go inside.

We are planning on going again this summer with my dad, so it will be nice to spend some time looking around when it's above freezing.

When we got back into the car we found that it had been broken into, forcing us to drive home with a missing window in the rain and snow. Despite the less than perfect conditions, this was still by far the best birthday I have ever had.

Random Cuteness

I always have lots of random pictures of the kids because they love having their picture taken.

So I figured I would just share some of the randomness, because, well, why not!

Willima's new favorite thing is climbing in the washer to help with the laundry. He pulls it all out and Kaelyn puts it in the dryer. I have such awesome kids!

Cleaning out my craft stuff and William was really excited to make his very own treasure chest with one of the boxes being thrown out.

Surgery

Nick had to have his shoulder reconstructed again, a pretty easy surgery as far as the medical side is concerned but seriously stressful for me! It made for a rough month, but he's better now. I just couldn't help but share this wonderfully glamorous picture of Nick!

More Christmas Markets

We got the chance to go to one of the biggest Christmas markets in Nurnberg.

Kaelyn was still really sick, we ended up driving the three hours there, and then driving home right after because she was just so miserable. She was so excited to see the horses though!

It was fun, not the best we've been to because the kids were really cranky but they got chocolate covered apples that were shaped as pigs, so that made them happy for a bit.

Christmas 2016

It wasn't until Christmas Eve that William finally understood the idea of Santa, so we scrambled to make some cookies. I had to make so many substitutes that they were terrible and almost impossible to roll out and cut. William got his cookies for Santa though, so he was a happy boy.

This was the first year that they were both old enough to help decorate, and we had so much fun putting the tree up together.

It was such a great Christmas, The kids didn't get a lot, but they loved everything that they did get. They were so excited, and having kids really makes you enjoy Christmas so much more. They bring such joy into holidays and life in general. I can't wait for next year when we have another little one to share the joy and excitement with!

Baby #3

At the end of December we announced that we are expecting a little Pullan #3 August 2nd.

Here is Germany they do an ultrasound at every appointment, so we have so many more pictures and get to see this little one more than we did with the other two.

We haven't talked about names yet, but I know it's going to be a rough one. Nick knows what we are having but I have decided to wait to find out. Only 4 more months to go!

Terrible Timing

Nick left in a rush to go back to Utah for his Grandmother's funeral. The kids and I had planned on going down to Switzerland for a temple trip. On our way back home getting things ready to go, I was making a left turn and got hit pretty bad.

All of the side airbags went off, the driver window is shattered, it was the scariest thing of my life. The kids got a clean bill of health, but they took me to the hospital to check on the baby and I ended up staying overnight for observation. Fortunately everyone is completely fine, a little shaken up with some bumps and bruises is all. The doctor who did my last ultrasound sound that I am actually really lucky, because the placenta is in the front instead of the back like normal, so had the front airbag gone off, or if I had been thrown forward more, there could have been some pretty scary consequences.

I can't say the same thing about the car, the repair shop is saying that it is totaled. For whatever reason we were not meant to go to the temple that weekend. I had turned around to check on a friend I saw parked on the side of the road, after many promptings so I really feel like for a reason I will probably never know, this was meant to happen.

21 Weeks

Please excuse my blonde moment, I'm blaming it on the pregnancy when I didn't realize this sign would be backwards when I took the picture...

21 Weeks with Baby #3
This baby is certainly carrying different than the other two. I feel much bigger, and he/she is sitting so much lower. I feel like I live in the bathroom! It is finally getting to the point that I am really enjoying this pregnancy. It was a rough start, bad morning sickness, migraines and headaches accompanied by the usual aches and pains of pregnancy. The clouds are clearing and the sun is shining now however as I'm finally starting to feel some movement and starting to feel more like a person.

21 Weeks with Kaelyn

20 Weeks with William

19 Weeks

For whatever reason, I have been doing terrible at tracking how far along I am. At my doctors appointment this week I was super surprised when she said that I was 19 weeks already. I guess that means it's time to start taking pictures to compare to the other two!

Hausmeerschweinchen

We have been talking for quite a while about getting a pet for the kids. A dog is out of the question for a number of reasons.  First we planned on fish, and not only did the fish store NEVER have cheap little gold fish but we decided that they would probably end up in the middle of the living room floor more often than not.

One day we went out and decided on Guinea Pigs. We didn't know that you had to buy them in multiples, but it's probably better because this way now they each have their own.

William's is an adult, the crazy looking one. He named him Red, because that is his favorite color.

The cute little baby is Sprinkles, that is who Kaelyn picked.

It was a rough first week, the kids desperately wanted to play with them but the little things wanted nothing to do with William and Kaelyn. The second day we had them Kaelyn poor a huge patch of fur off of Red, he still gets really nervous around her.

It's getting better, they are all starting to warm up to eachother, although Red still refuses to let William walk him :)

Princess Kaelyn

Kaelyn is obsessed with princesses lately. Anytime she wears a dress, or even a shirt with some poof to it, it's a princess outfit.

Anytime I do her hair, it's princess hair. I love how excited she gets, and I hope she always keep the mentality that she is a princess because that is exactly what she is.
