Tummy Time

Kaelyn likes tummy time so much more than William every did.

Unlike him, she lays there for about five minutes most of the time before crying.

William is always anxious to participate, whether that means covering her with a blanket,

Or rolling her over because she is crying

She can already hold herself up a little, much sooner than William could. This girl is going to be tough!

Love of Reading

William has always loved to be read to.

Although he can't actually read, he is now big enough to grab a book, and look at the pictures.

He makes up a story as he goes, making sure that you hear it.

Even  better, now he has a sister that he can read to, and he is loving it!

Blowing Raspberries

Another cute video I found. He still does this, only he climbs onto the couch and runs from one arm to the other.

Bath Day

Bath day has always been one of William's favorites.

To make a great day even better, he now gets to help give Kaelyn a bath.

He will take any excuse to play in the water.

Playing with Papa

This is a video I found on a memory card I thought I had already unloaded. This was towards the beginning of the year.

A Model Big Brother

William really loves Kaelyn. He runs to find me when she is crying, then tells her not to cry. He is very protective of her, and gets upset when anyone holds her but me.

He pets her head, and put her bows and headbands back on when they have fallen off.

He loves to hold her, and wants so badly to carry her around himself.

He gives Kaelyn more kisses than he gives me. All of this is assurance that they are going to be best friends in the years to come.

A House Full of Crooks

A few weeks ago my sister came up with her kids so that they could meet the baby, and see their son one last time before he left on his mission.

William loved having them here, more people to play with him and read him stories.

And of course, more people to help out in the kitchen!

One night Jenn permed my hair for me, and after enduring it the night before for grandma, no one was very excited to experience the smell again.

Everybody grabbed a clothes pin to put on their nose, it worked better for some than others.

We spent an afternoon at the museum, and I think the kids all had more fun chasing William around, and watching him wave to all of the mannequins.

It was great to see everyone, and sad to see them go.
