William was four weeks old when we took these photos.

Monkeying around

My nephew Aaron has a very large sock monkey that he loves to tie around him and play.

At the baby shower my ward threw me William got his own sock monkey to play with.

We thought it was only fitting to get a picture of the two of them and their sock monkeys.

21st Birthday

This year I turned 21, and had a great time celebrating with my family.

We went to Red Robin for lunch that day, the perfect place to celebrate a birthday.

My Dad was nice enough to model some of my gifts for me.

One month old

Wednesday William turned one month old. It's hard to believe that it has already been a month since I had him. He has grown so much and is changing by the day. He weighs 8 lbs and 15 oz and is 21 1/4 inches long.



One week old.



Two weeks old.

Three weeks old.

Four weeks old.



A month long party

My parents flew in to visit on Christmas and have been here ever since. It has been so nice to see them and spend some time with them.

We have been able to do a lot of fun things during their month here.

We went to Yankee Candle, Harvard, the Public Garden, Waldon's Pond and did lots and lots of shopping!

William has had a lot of fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa too.

 It's sad to see to see them go, but I know we'll see them again soon. Thanks for the good time!

Everyone loves a baby

No matter where we go, everyone has to look at the baby. With our parents here, I have spent most of my days at Kim's house, and there is always someone more than willing to hold William.

 Of course his Mom loves holding him.

 Aaron loves William, and has even nick-named him Pirate Hiccup, because he loves to look through one eye and seems to always have the hiccups. He's his buddy, he sings to him, talks to him and just loves looking at him.

And of course, Grandma can't get enough of him!

Visions of White

The day of the blessing and baptism were a little crazy, so we just got pictures taken of William and Katie dressed in their white outfits.

Next stop.....

After weeks of anxiously waiting, Nick finally got his projection of where we will be stationed once he is finished with training. There was a lot of speculation that we would be sent over seas somewhere but it looks like we will be going to Fort Knox, Kentucky!

I am very excited that this keeps me within driving distance with all of my sisters, so we will be able o see everyone and William will be able to get to know his cousins as he gets older.

First Bath

We gave William his first bath before his blessing and we were shocked at how much he enjoyed it!

He was perfectly happy getting all soaped up, and didn't even start crying till we started rinsing him off.

He is such a good little boy, I can't wait to experience even more first with him!

Baby Blessing

Today we gave William the tradition baby blessing.

He looked so cute dressed up in his little white outfit and sweater that Grandma made him.

We were lucky that my Dad was here, and that he could do the blessing for us.

Katie turned eight this month, so her baptism was today and was kind enough to share it with William so that Nick could see him be blessed. An exciting day for the whole family.
