Living Life

Sorry that we haven't posted anything lately, it has been very busy here. Nick is still working over nights at Target, I am still at Ryder working more and more hours every week. It's gotten to the point where 40 hours is a slow week.
We started looking for an apartment, with our goal being to be out by the end of them month. Kim and John and the kids are all taking a trip to see our neice graduate and my parents are tagging along. After their trip they are coming to spend a week or two here at the Normandin house, and we can't wait to see them!
We had a great couple of weeks, celebrating Easter and John's birthday.
Zach and Katie finished soccer, and Zach has started baseball. It has been so much fun going and watch them play, getting better and better everytime.
This weekend is Aaron's birthday, we are all excited to celebrate his fifth birthday!
I am going to appologize for the lack of pictures, my computer has a virus, so I am using Nick's, but I will get some up as soon as we get it up and going again.

We hope everything is well with everyone, and we miss you all tons!

Getting Adjusted

Well, we have been here three weeks now, and we are finally starting to adjust the way of life here. It's still America, but there are so many things here that are nothing like our home in Utah. The people are different, the lingo is different, so many things.
Speed is everything here. Who can get there the fastest (You all drive slow compared the the drivers out here), check out at the store, or even just get their Dunkin Donut and coffee (which is on almost every corner).
Accents really aren't that big, not that we have noticed, but they do talk a little different. It's not a honk, it's a beep, it's not pop (that is a sucker), it's soda.
We experienced "Solar Glare" for the first time. Utahans really take advantage of the mountains. By the time you can see the sun over them, it's almost above you. But here, the second it comes up it is hitting you in the eyes, so sunglasses don't even put a dent in the streams of light coming in through your windows.

I had an interview on Wednesday, she said that it will be about two weeks before I hear back, but my fingers are crossed. It is for a company called Amaridose, they make medical supplies and some IV drugs.
Nick has an interview this week with Target for a management position, we are hoping that being in a new store, not having any prejudice will give him a better chance to show off his talents and prove that he is the perfect person for the job.
We miss our families dearly, our parents, grandparents, brothers and my puppy dogs, along with all of our friends. It's hard being away from people that you were around for so long and so often. We can't wait to see you all again!
